This 36 Ford was discovered in a total state of disrepair for a grand
price of $1,500. The floor was rotted out along with most of the
lower portions of the body. The frame had been modified by a past
owner who removed the X member.
Most of the car was there when I started to rebuild it. After about
four years the car was on the road. The car now sits on a Weedeater
frame. The engine is a 330 horse chevy V-8 with a 700R-4
transmission.
The
car is a daily driver and has already been to southern California
several times and to Yuma Arizona. This car will never be a show
stopper but it is almost always the best 36 Ford in the Safeway
parking lot.
I'm
proud to have done most of the work myself including the paint.
However, it would not have been near this nice without the help of
several friends.
Look for this car in Pueblo Colorado at the N.S.R.A. show in June 2004
