Kool April Nites-- Redding CA   April 18-22 2001

    With the rainy weather of the previous week, it looked as if Kool April Nights was going to become another wet April nights.  But the clouds parted, and Saturday morning was picture perfect.  With the well-drained grounds of the Redding Convention Center, it seemed as if the grass was only covered with dew.   Mix a beautiful day like this, with countless Street Rods, Kustoms, and Classics, a constant flow of spectators, and --you have a car show.
   Kool April Nights is one of the first spring shows in Northern California, and draws cars from neighboring states.  It gives visitors a chance to re-live by- gone days, or  to pick up ideas for the rides "a ‘waitin" back home in the garage.  Along with the cars- entertainment, food and vendors, provided a little something for every one.
